Question 1

How do I add Azelia to my server?

Accepted Answer

Click "Add to Discord" at the top of this page and authorise Azelia with the bot and slash command scopes. It will join your server immediately and slash commands register within a few seconds.

Question 2

What is the default prefix?

Accepted Answer

The default prefix is . (dot). So .play lo-fi works. You can change it with /setprefix <new> if you have Manage Server permissions. Slash commands always work regardless of prefix.

Question 3

Do I need to give Azelia admin permissions?

Accepted Answer

No. Azelia only needs: Connect, Speak, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History. The OAuth invite link already requests only those permissions.

Question 4

Which slash commands are available?

Accepted Answer

All music, filter, playlist, premium, and setting commands are available as slash commands. A few extended integrations (Last.fm, SoundCloud suite) still use the prefix.

Question 5

Can I play Spotify links directly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste a Spotify track, album, or playlist URL directly into /play. Azelia resolves it via the Spotify API and streams the audio through YouTube or another fallback provider.

Question 6

Why does the bot sometimes skip a Spotify track?

Accepted Answer

Some tracks are region-locked or unavailable. Azelia automatically falls back to SoundCloud or YouTube with the same title and artist. You can run /nowplaying to see which source was used.

Question 7

Is there a queue size limit?

Accepted Answer

Free servers can queue up to 100 tracks. Guild Pro removes this limit entirely.

Question 8

How does 24/7 mode work?

Accepted Answer

Run /247 on and Azelia will stay in voice even when no one is listening, and automatically rejoin if disconnected. It is available on all plans.

Question 9

Can I seek within a track?

Accepted Answer

Yes. /seek 1:45 jumps to 1 minute 45 seconds. Timestamps accept mm:ss or hh:mm:ss format.

Question 10

How many audio filters are free?

Accepted Answer

Twenty-five filters are free for all servers, including bassboost, acoustic, classical, hiphop, jazz, pop, and rock.

Question 11

How many premium filters are there?

Accepted Answer

Over seventy-five additional filters unlock with Guild Pro or User Premium, bringing the total to 100+. These include nightcore, 8D, vaporwave, phonk, megabass, and many more.

Question 12

Can I stack multiple filters?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Filters are applied cumulatively in the EQ chain. Run /filter clear to reset all active filters at once.

Question 13

What is the difference between Guild Pro and User Premium?

Accepted Answer

Guild Pro unlocks premium for every member in one specific server. User Premium is personal — it follows your Discord account across every server Azelia is in, plus gives you the no-prefix perk globally.

Question 14

Can I try premium before buying?

Accepted Answer

Join the support server and ask a team member. Trial periods are sometimes granted on request for active community members.

Question 15

How do I activate my subscription?

Accepted Answer

After purchasing via the support server, use /premium activate <key> in any server to apply Guild Pro, or link your account for User Premium.

Question 16

Do premium features carry over when I switch servers?

Accepted Answer

User Premium does — it follows you. Guild Pro is tied to one server. You would need a separate subscription for another server.

Question 17

Azelia is not responding to commands.

Accepted Answer

Check that Azelia has permission to read messages and send embeds in that channel. Slash commands require the bot + applications.commands scope. If it recently joined, wait 30 seconds for command sync.

Question 18

The bot joins but does not play audio.

Accepted Answer

Make sure Azelia has Connect and Speak permissions in the voice channel. Also check if the track URL is region-locked or private. Run /ping to check the audio node latency.

Question 19

Queue disappeared after a bot restart.

Accepted Answer

Queue state is not persisted across restarts yet. Saved playlists via /pl-save are stored permanently and can be reloaded instantly.

Question 20

Where do I report bugs?

Accepted Answer

Open a ticket in the support Discord server. Include the command used, the error message from the embed, and your server ID.
